Hi there!

I’m Roxanne, or Miss Roxy — a Child and Youth Care Practitioner (CYC-P) with a passion for helping kids and teens feel confident, capable, and truly heard. I believe in creating a space where young people can be themselves, explore big feelings, and learn skills that help them thrive — all through connection, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.

When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my very playful pup, Barry, hiking through the woods, lounging for hours at the beach (hello, sunshine!), or casting a line while fishing. I’m also a big fan of spooky movies, spontaneous sing-alongs, and finding joy in the little things.

Working with children, youth, and families isn’t just what I do — it’s what I love. I bring warmth, empathy, and a playful spirit to every session, always tailoring my approach to meet each child where they’re at. Whether we’re drawing, talking, building, or just being silly, I’m here to support growth, connection, and confidence — one small step at a time.

I specialize in working with children and youth who are facing behavioural, emotional, or social challenges, and I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that meets each child where they're at. I have a particular passion for working with neurodiverse kids and teens, always tailoring my support to fit their unique needs, strengths, and interests.
